Choosing a Topic
With choosing a topic we came up with many ideas and no matter how ridiculous they sounded we wrote them down hoping they would lead us to a better idea. After we went through the idea list and got rid of the ones that we knew we weren't going to do we consolidated the list to 5 ideas. From those five ideas we then created a decision matrix that we would use to decide which idea we liked the best.
After thinking up over fifty possible problems we could do, we shortened the list down to 5 major problems which we thought were the best.
1. Yard work is Tedious and Time-Consuming
As it stands, yard work has remained generally unchanged over the past years, and a majority of it still needs to be performed by hand work. Whether you take care of the lawn on your own, or you are hired to take care of it for someone else, yard work generally requires some physical labor alongside the use of tools and machines, which makes it so not all ages of people can effectively take care of their yards, There are many solutions to this problem on the market, as lawn care has become a major industry.
2. Certain Species of Animals are Going Extinct
While it is natural for many species to go extinct over time, humans have become a large threat to many animals. The extinction of animals as a result of human interference is not a debatable topic on whether it is morally correct or responsible, and most people agree with this. This product is not one you would sell to just anyone, but to conservation organizations, the supply of devices that help with this problem is not large.
3. Helping the Blind Maneuver Better
Blindness is an epidemic impairing about 39 million people in the world right now, and few can argue that being blind is a problem that does not need solving. Some solutions on the market that already exist to help the blind are the Finger Reader, Smart Glasses, and the White Cane.
4. Reducing the Loss of Life in Military Conflicts
Casualties in military conflicts have always been a detractor to war, and many people understand that it would be better if we could reduce the loss of life while retaining the effectiveness of the US Armed Forces. Some solutions to this that already exist come from Boston Dynamics with robots such as "BigDog".
5. House Chores are Tedious and Time-Consuming
Almost everyone who lives in a house has chores that need to be done to keep their house clean and looking good, such as taking out the trash or cleaning the bathroom. Stay at home parents agree with the opinion that chores are time consuming and tedious, and this is a credible group because they often have to do the chores in their household. Some solutions that exist today are the Roomba, Giddel Toilet Cleaner, and Hobot 298 robots.

Market Survey
After submitting the survey to many subreddits and discord servers, we found that a majority of people who clean at home dislike cleaning bathrooms the most. The second most disliked chores were taking out trash and cleaning bedrooms.
The problem
House chores can be tedious and time consuming tasks which apply mostly to adults in homes. It has been reported that those who regularly clean their own home are doing so during 6% of their whole week, about 10 hours.
Summary
The survey results seem to have gone the exact way i expected them to regarding the chore that everyone hated the most and that was the bathroom, I also expected a majority of people to say around the price range of $20 - $40 but what i didn't expect was that as many people would pay $100 or more. I think that this project is really interesting because it can be approached from many different ways and that there is a lot of possibilities and many different solutions. This topic could be very interesting if we approach it right and I'm passionate about this project because using technology to make things easier has always been something I really enjoy.
